Oh lord, first try at adding wings, as well as I worked with a more fantasy look for this piece. I actually did ‘research’ for this image. I looked at countless pictures of winged wolves and horses to get the positioning and size correct.

I wouldn't have even guessed this to be your first with wings! You did such an incredible job! They connect to the wolf as though they belong there.
The pose of the wolf taking flight is perfect, and it has an overall gorgeous setting. I love how there is so much fantasy in this piece! The water's violet glow just gives off a magical aura, and the way it divides the forest's lighter and darker parts is perfect, like separating a bright and innocent land from a deeper, more eerie place.
Great job on this one!! Truly! Your skills really show in this! ^_^
